GUNNER WYNN SENTENCED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

Clovis, NM – Ninth Judicial District Attorney, Quentin Ray, announced that on May 8, 2023, Gunner Wynn, age 27, of Clovis, was sentenced to three hundred and sixty-four days in the Department of Corrections for a fight involving another inmate at the Curry County Detention Center. Wynn was also sentenced to an additional 4 years in the Department of Corrections for felon in possession of a firearm.  When officers of the Clovis Police Department arrested Wynn for concealing his identity, they found a .22 revolver in the vehicle he was driving.  

The Honorable Judge Cross presided over the hearing. The case was prosecuted by Assistant DA Brett Carter and Natasha Patel.  Wynn was represented by Criminal Defense Attorney, Mitch Mender of Clovis.
