Key Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents and correspondence
Assist with trial preparation activities
Perform data entry, including Case Management System (CMS) input and document merging
Transcribe legal materials accurately
Maintain calendars and schedule appointments
Organize and maintain case files
Contact witnesses and provide professional customer service
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Work Environment:
This role is based in an office setting with occasional physical effort and travel requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field
Knowledge of the criminal justice system preferred
Proficiency with general office equipment and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Case Management System (CMS)
Strong typing, math, grammar, proofreading, and document filing skills (including e-filing)
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to follow directions and policies
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of related work experience and/or education in a related field.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, between $38,000-$42,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
